These are the slides from the presentation of our Dark Knight Swede. The presentation illustrates the film production process, including Production, Post-prodction, Marketing and Distribution. We used this Power-Point presentation to show our media class how we made our swede and how we got it to an audience.

The Twilight saga New Moon swede research
My review
I thought that this interpretation of the Twilight film was very much, humorous and amusing. The actors versions of the characters are extremely exaggerated, not only creating comical tone but also highlighting the ridiculousness of the characters in the actual film. The settings and music included are almost accurate, which creates a sense of similarity to the original film, making it clear which scenes are being interpreted. Some of the lines spoken by the characters also set a witty tone, as they show the realistic responses to some of the situations in the film, which clearly pokes fun at the original film.

This is a maxtrix swede which i enjoyed watching because it was amusing and the slow motion added effect. I found the sound effects funny and the way they were fighting good because of their use of slow motion. I liked this as it helped me and my group to take on ideas from theirs and add it onto ours to make it better.

Dark Knight Interview
Batman Trailer
I used these two characters
because they mainly
represent the base of the
the whole movie.
because they mainly
represent the base of the
the whole movie.
I also used this background as a layout for the characters to be shown. With editing I made the symbol swirl while blurred into the middle, then fully shown with a little shake for when it was placed there to get a dramatic and tense effect and to immediately show to the audience it is a batman trailer. With addition to the swirl in action i added some gusting wind sound to emphasise the dramatic effect and since the wind fits with the blurred symbol.
At the end of the trailer I used the noise of a shotgun being fired, followed
by jokers laugh. The reason why i did this is because it foreshadows that someone is going to die because jokers voice was followed by the laugher, which is normally that the person that shot it and since we all know joker is a killer it makes the audience want to know much more of who got shot. Therefore making them wanting to watch the movie even more, which is the main components of a ad campaign.
I also used this image of the joker on the left with RGB effects and earthquake effect followed by zooming in and out on his scary face to care the audience since they would not be expecting that since the trailer has already seemed to be finished after jokers laugh because what more can happen after that.
This is the editing done by me for the the Batman trailer.

The stages of making a film:
In film-making, pre-production is more specific and only, officially
begins when other milestones have been met such as financing, screenplay,
casting and major staffing.
During pre-production, the script is initiated into
particular scenes and factors are distinguished such as props, costumes,
locations, cast members, crew members and special and visual effects. Detailed
schedules and finance are arranged and organized and sets are also assembled.
Pre- production, at
some point, also includes cast members reading through a script along with
other staff members such as the director, producers and publicists.
Production:
Production refers to the part in film-making when the
footage is actually recorded. In large feature films it marks the ‘point of no
return’, in which it is no longer financially viable to cancel the project.
More crew members are also appointed such as a still
photographer, picture editor and sound editor. After every take the director
will observe footage and state if any additional takes are required.
Post-production:
Post-production is the final major phase in the production
process. It includes many factors of editing such as editing video footage and
soundtrack, adding sound effects and music, adding titles, graphics and special
effects and also includes colour and exposure correction.
The most employable take is chosen for every scene and
through the editing of the movie it is possible to change the intentions of it,
if it is found that it doesn’t make sense. When this is all finished the edited
film is examined by the director and producers and after this will be available
to be distributed. Post-production can be longest process of production.
Distribution:
In most big budget films the distribution deal is secured
before filming takes place. Distribution is the process in which film
distributors are responsible for releasing the film through to the public
either theatrically or for home viewing.
When films are released
theatrically, different theatre commissioners will screen and buy the film, so
it is therefore available for audiences to watch in their theatre. Months after
being released in theatre, they can then be released for home-viewing, such as
DVD, Blu-ray, video on demand, download and television programs.
Some films don’t go through a theatrical release at all and
instead go straight on to home-viewing release.
Marketing:
The marketing of a film includes promoting the film so that
the public are informed of factors of the film and its release. It is crucial
for every part of a films promotion, to partially be intriguing and captivating
for the public, so it attracts more viewers, resulting in financial success.
A film can be promoted in many ways noticeable for the
public, such as through: television, radio newspaper and magazine advertisements,
print media and promotional websites and pages on social-networking sites. Sometimes
the actors of a film can go on a promotional tour as well.
Films can be sold to different audiences through the themes
of the films (e.g. A love film will
possibly attract females), through the location of advertisement (e.g. if
advertised on a children’s television programme, it will possibly attract
children) and through the actors in the film.
Exhibition:
There are many ways in which audiences get to see films and
become engaged with them, for instance, through the cinema, online, film
renting e.g. (Love Film or Netflix), DVD and Blu-ray.
Films can also be seen on various technologies, such as, mobile
phones, iPods and laptops.

Swede review
Review
My review of this swede is that I think that it is absolutely hilarious. The beginning of the movie which I had expected to be quite boring since you cant do that much with a swede was the one that made me like this swede so much. Their owned voiced intro caught me by surprise which I thought was very original and had me laughing before I even knew it. The characters weren't professional actors but acted very cheesy which I liked since they were making a parody of it. Also the difference between the equipment form the actual movie from this was hilarious, for example they only had string rope instead of an actual one real leather one. Overall from the cheesy acting to the poor props all made the swede so much better which is why I review this swede as a must watch if you want to start make your own swedes.
The Stages of Making a Film.
This is
where the story is outlined into a feasible script. A detailed screen play will
be written with little detail of the characters, situations and overall style.
A financer will then be hired to check if the screenplay is good enough and
would give a certain amount of financial banking to fit the screen play.
Pre Production Stage
In the pre-production
stage the movie is crafted in detail and a production budget is made. It is
then in this stage the producer hire the whole crew, who's time size depends on
the budget of the movie. The director, director assistant, choreographer,
cinematographer, music composer and music director are the main members of the
crew. Movie that are in pre-production now are A Most Wanted Man and RoboCop.
Production Stage.
This
stage is where the film is created and shot. At this stage, the production office
hires more people like property masters and script supervisors. The stage would
be busy, with the preparing of the equipment at this time, also while the actor
rehears their script.
Distribution Stage
The way
the movie industry can distribute their movie are numerous, such as giving
copied to the theatres to show it there, DVD ,Blue ray, Putting the movie
online with money you have to pay to watch it and putting the movie on TV, on
special channels which they get more money from.
Marketing
The
possible ways of marketing the movies are putting posters on buses since this
reminds the person to watch the movie in case they forgot to. Making movie
trailers, to tease the audience therefore making them want to watch it even
more since they can actually see what its about and not here only news of it. There
could also be commercials telling them about the movie in-between TV shows,
since so many peoples livelihood base around the TV, thus making have a big
advantage. Posting ads on social networking sites, E.g Facebook and Twitter, to
get the younger audience watching, since most people that watch movies at the
cinema are at the age of between 16-25.
Exhibition
People
can watch movies in various amount of ways such as, TV, Cinema, Mobile, PC,
Laptop, Ipod, Online, DVD, Blue Rays and on tablets.
