This is
where the story is outlined into a feasible script. A detailed screen play will
be written with little detail of the characters, situations and overall style.
A financer will then be hired to check if the screenplay is good enough and
would give a certain amount of financial banking to fit the screen play.
Pre Production Stage
In the pre-production
stage the movie is crafted in detail and a production budget is made. It is
then in this stage the producer hire the whole crew, who's time size depends on
the budget of the movie. The director, director assistant, choreographer,
cinematographer, music composer and music director are the main members of the
crew. Movie that are in pre-production now are A Most Wanted Man and RoboCop.
Production Stage.
This
stage is where the film is created and shot. At this stage, the production office
hires more people like property masters and script supervisors. The stage would
be busy, with the preparing of the equipment at this time, also while the actor
rehears their script.
Distribution Stage
The way
the movie industry can distribute their movie are numerous, such as giving
copied to the theatres to show it there, DVD ,Blue ray, Putting the movie
online with money you have to pay to watch it and putting the movie on TV, on
special channels which they get more money from.
Marketing
The
possible ways of marketing the movies are putting posters on buses since this
reminds the person to watch the movie in case they forgot to. Making movie
trailers, to tease the audience therefore making them want to watch it even
more since they can actually see what its about and not here only news of it. There
could also be commercials telling them about the movie in-between TV shows,
since so many peoples livelihood base around the TV, thus making have a big
advantage. Posting ads on social networking sites, E.g Facebook and Twitter, to
get the younger audience watching, since most people that watch movies at the
cinema are at the age of between 16-25.
Exhibition
People
can watch movies in various amount of ways such as, TV, Cinema, Mobile, PC,
Laptop, Ipod, Online, DVD, Blue Rays and on tablets.
